Misonix, Inc. is offering a wide range of MYSTAIRE® Horizontal Crossflow Scrubbers for the removal of acidic, alkaline, soluble, organic gases, vapors and odors from a gas stream. These crossflow (or MHS series) scrubbers are so named because of their perpendicular flow of gases and scrubbing liquid. MHS Scrubbers are ideal for applications when overhead space is limited – such as on roofs or inside facilities that will not allow a vertical packed column. They are widely used due to their low height requirements and ease of maintenance.
Corrosion resistant and contaminant compatible, MHS Scrubbers feature high surface area packing with an inner network of cross ribs, struts, and drip rods. When irrigated, the packing breaks the liquid streams into multiple even surface films. The gas flows across these films, creating intimate gas/liquid contact at a low-pressure drop.
