What can be crisp, refreshing, and best served at the end of a long day? A mocktail, of course.
Since the inception of our Mocktail Book in 2023, we’ve long embraced the mocktail as a creative twist on daily hydration. Using our flavor portfolio, in addition to some other all-important ingredients, we’ve continued to explore and pour over this hydration trend that continues to grow in popularity.
But in the background, we always thought: what would our long-serving community come up with? What delicious recipe would they create? Cue our community!
August 2025 saw our community taste test their own recipes and submit them as part of waterdrop’s first-ever Mocktail Competition. This opportunity saw our talented community raise ‘the bar’ by shaking and stirring their creativity using our flavors. From all recipes submitted, our in-house jury selected just three mocktails—yes, was tough!—and then YOU voted!
From beautiful blends to creations that captured everything color, we are delighted to announce the winner of the waterdrop® Mocktail Competition: The Melon Tea Peach by Loredana Baraldo.
Ingredients:

1 waterdrop® ICE TEA LEMON

200 ml of cold water

2 slices of melon 🍈

1 peach 🍑

Half a lime
-
1 sprig of thyme, for decoration

Lots of ice
Preparation:

Dissolve the waterdrop® ICED TEA LEMON hydration cube in 6.8 fl oz of cold water.

Blend melon slices, peach slices, and lime juice.

Prepare melon balls and peach slices, and put them in a glass.

Add the mixed fruits to the glass.

Fill half the glass with ice.

Gently pour the dissolved ICED TEA LEMON into the glass, stir and garnish with thyme.
From community member to mocktail master
Our mocktail competition winner, Loredana, wasn’t always the experienced mixologist and community member that we know now. We asked her how she first came across waterdrop®.
Loredana first found waterdrop® through a Facebook competition in 2021 where our products were part of the prize. Intrigued at first then finding passion for our products, she followed our Main Page and Closed Group (waterdrop® Club) on Facebook.
Since then, Loredana continues to discover new flavors, whilst pursuing optimal daily hydration; and as a true veteran of the Facebook Club, she has enjoyed following our brand’s journey—in turn, inspiring both her confidence and creativity with a winning recipe.
The inspiration behind the creation
We all know that creating a mocktail isn’t easy, so we asked Loredana about her inspiration behind the recipe. She said that it all started with the season and her favorite fruits, drawing creativity from what she loves the most.
“I love creating contrast between colours and flavors, and using decoration as the finishing touches.” The result? A vibrant, sensory delight. Cheers!
The perfect flavor for the perfect drink
Our waterdrop® Mocktail Competition really only had one rule: to use a waterdrop® flavour of your choice. For the winning recipe, Loredana used ICED TEA LEMON—a bestselling flavour for many reasons. Full of zest with none of the sugar, this Microdrink flavour made for the perfect pairing with Loredana’s choice of peach and melon. And whilst ICED TEA LEMON remains one of her favourites, Loredana also loves to sip on Microdrink ORANGE, enjoying it with both still and sparkling water.

Loredana is an active member of our Italian community, participating, commenting and sharing her knowledge in our group. As a community member, we asked if there was any message she would like to give.
Her advice is simple, yet inspiring: don’t be afraid to get creative.
